Surge protectors for electronics

Hi,



I'm in need of a good surge protector for my desktop.



This one gets good reviews, and am curious your guys' thoughts on it...



Also, how necessary is it for cell phones to have surge protectors? Right now I only have one for my TV and everything that hooks up to it. My cell phone and desktop though are in different rooms though so am curious if it is a good idea to have one for my cell phone?
